Julie A. Lopez, LMHC, NCC
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and recognized through the National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC). My qualifications include a Master's degree in Community Counseling from Gonzaga University and a Doctoral degree in Counseling Psychology from Washington State University.
I have experience working with a diverse population including university and college students, community members of all ages, and individuals with intellectual and physical disabilities. My clinical experiences include providing individual psychotherapy, group therapy, crisis intervention, crisis management, psychological testing, and services in monolingual Spanish and bilingual (English/Spanish) languages.
I am trained in various therapy treatment modalities. Using evidence-based practices, I utilize an integrative approach to therapy and tailor services to each client’s individual needs. Together, you and I will create a space for you to safely explore and work through your specific situation. You will be encouraged and supported through your journey and you will feel empowered to retake control of your life.
Through your unique lens, we explore your situation in detail, identify your strengths, and expand your personal awareness and insight. Life's challenges change us, but they do not have to define us. Always remember that behind every life challenge is a lesson for personal growth.
